- Apply sealer to prevent the microcement from being unprotected and to ensure better cleaning.
- Allow the application to dry for 5 days.

1- Cleaning the surface

2- Prime the substrate to facilitate the adhesion of the microcement.
Once the surface is clean, the adhesion promoter or primer must then be applied to facilitate the bonding of the microcement base layer with the existing substrate.
If the surface is absorbent, such as concrete, Concrete Resin should be applied. This product, in addition to being component B of our two-component microcement, is used to facilitate the adhesion of the microcement on this type of support. If it is a non-absorbent surface, such as tile or terrazzo, Primacrete Plus should be applied before and after the first coat of the preparatory microcement.
3- First layer of microcement for preparation
After preparing and priming the surface, it is time to apply the first layer of unpigmented microcement. It is important to apply a fibreglass mesh for microcement, as it prevents the appearance of fissures and cracks. After leaving the surface, it must be sanded.
4- Two coats of finishing microcement
The next step is to apply two coats of microcement finish with pigment. In the case of exterior flooring, the best bet is a coarse-textured microcement such as Concrete Stone.
After the first coat, it is necessary to let it dry for 3 to 6 hours before sanding. The second coat has a drying time of 24 hours. Once the surface is dry, it has to be sanded again.
5- Sealing
To ensure a quality finish and a professional application, the surface must be sealed. This is an essential step to protect the floor. Two coats of Primacrete Finish, which acts as a pre-sealing primer, and two coats of Concrete Finish WT sealer varnish should be applied.
